Originally from Massachusetts, I have been coming to the Outer Banks since I met my husband, a career Army officer and aviator. We have owned multiple investment properties in Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills over the last twenty years. Most recently we built our “forever home” in Duck- a contemporary design that takes inspiration from the historic flat top cottages of conservationist Frank Stick. Whether you are looking to sell your existing investment property, or buy a quaint beach getaway, I will focus intently on your needs and desires and craft a strategy grounded in data-driven market research and analysis to ensure that you get the most from the experience.
I have a wealth of knowledge, organization and determination gained from a twenty-five-year career in the private, government, and non-profit sectors. I bring extensive experience in marketing and sales to the negotiating table; developed from more than a decade in the high-end cosmetic industry. After more than a decade in the private sector, fueled by a desire to serve, I parlayed my business acumen into international development, earning master’s degrees from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and the City University of New York. I worked for a non-profit agency in international humanitarian assistance and as a social scientist for the US Army in Afghanistan and Germany. I am the proud mother of two sons: a Virginia Tech and VCU grad who works in advertising in Barcelona, Spain, and a rising junior at JMU who is in the Virginia National Guard. When I am not assisting clients, I volunteer at the Sea Turtle Assistance and Rehabilitation Center at the NC Aquarium, serve on the Board of Directors of the non-profit Secotan Alliance, teach yoga and mindfulness techniques to US military personnel, and enjoy strolling the beach with our two Frenchies.
If you are ready to turn your Outer Banks real estate investment dreams into reality, trust me to navigate the journey with expertise, integrity, and dedication.
